This Privacy Policy describes how Flock collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
When you use Flock, we collect the following information:
- Account information: name, email address, and password (stored encrypted).
- Community information: communities you create or join, your role (admin or member), and your participation activity.
- Content you create: posts, comments, prayer requests, events, donations, and member directory entries.
- Device information: device type, OS version, and push notification token (used only for delivering notifications).
- Subscription information: processed by Apple and RevenueCat; we do not store your payment details.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the Flock service.
- To enable communication within your community (events, announcements, posts).
- To send relevant push notifications you have opted into.
- To manage your subscription and access to premium features.
- To respond to your support requests.
3. Third-Party Services
Flock uses these third-party services to operate:
All communication with these services is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your authentication tokens are stored on your device using iOS Keychain (Secure Storage). Community data is stored in Supabase with Row Level Security enabled — only authorized members of a community can access its data. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
5. Your Rights
- Access: You can view all your data within the app.
- Correction: You can edit your profile and content at any time.
- Deletion: You can delete your account from the Profile screen → "Delete Account." This permanently removes your account and associated data.
- Export: Contact us to request a copy of your data.
- Withdraw consent: You can revoke notification permissions in your device settings at any time.
6. Children's Privacy
Flock is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
